Rant to Elysian Brewing for not filling growlers. Come up with some other lame excuses besides we have no room to store the glass...IÂ brought my own and you still won't fill it!
Rave to the Malt & Vine the eastside's version of Bottleworks. Great selection and knowledgable staff make me think this place will be a big hit. Plus being close to Microsoft and the large quantities of rich beer and wine snobs doesn't hurt!
Rave to the Everett waterfront for its new found beer culture. You can now hit happy hour at the Woodfire Grill for some $2.50 Boundry Bay IPA, go down to Lombardis for some Diamond Knott IPA, and then hit Scuttlebutts for some Galeforce IPA! We call it the "Everett Triangle".
A huge Rant to the residents and visitors of Lake Tahoe that did not support their local brewery. Lake Tahoe Brewing has gone out of business. What a terrible shock to drive up and see the place boarded up on a thirsty hot afternoon! I guess you guys were ahead of your time and now IÂ am stuck with drinking whatever lame beers I can find at the lesser local establishments.
A huge Rant to the idiots that killed the legacy that was Bert Grant Ales! I know he is rolling over in his grave right now and IÂ am sure he would smack you upside your head if he ever ran into you in Heaven but we know that won't happen...because you people are going straight to Hell! I hope you enjoy the warm beer there!
Rave to the new Central Market in Mill Creek. Finally we have a little class and style in the beer isle in Snohomish County. I know, we have Food Emporium which no doubt brings in some great beers from time to time but not to the degree of Central Market. Where else can IÂ stock up on an amazing assortment of IPA's and get Ahi Poke from your fish market!
A huge Rave to Stone Brewing for saving Christmas! My wife bought me a great Xmas gift pack from them that included an Arrogant Bastard T-shirt, a pint glass, snow beanie, and a buch of stickers from them. Well, due to HER error on the address the present was shipped back as undeliverable just a few days before Xmas! Dan in their gift shop took care of it and it came the day before Xmas! Not only do you guys make some of the best beers in the world, you also have big hearts and great customer service. I will wear my Arrogant Bastard shirt with pride!
Big Rant to the Flying Pig for giving up on brewing! Yeah, your beer had gone downhill since you lost your good brewer, so pay them what they deserve and get with the program. I hope you at least fill those now vacant taps with some of the great beers of the area and not the white trash beers that will make you a hit with the white trash of the area!
Big Rave to Diamond Knott for starting to bottle your beers and the new $2.50 pint beer 30! A popular place that actually lowers beer prices to satisfy the hopheads...what a novel concept! You guys rock!
Rant to Issaquah Alehouse and Rogue Brewing…You guys make some great beers but have made your beer so expensive that you are losing many fans. We used to love to stop for a few after skiing/snowboarding/snowmobiling off I-90. Now we will just stop and fill our growlers at Snoqualmie Brewing and skip you guys. First you stopped serving bread w/ the gumbo, then the gumbo got smaller, then the beer went up in price repeatedly until last time we were there, the waitress told us that you stopped serving pitchers of beer because they were too expensive for people to buy! Almost $5 for a beer? I don't think so!
Rave to Diamond Knott Brewing…$2 pint night on Tuesdays! Even the Industrial IPA is $2! Not real happy about having to pay for the peanuts these days but at least the beer is reasonable!
Rant to Budweiser…You have the gall to show a hop in one of your commercials? I don't think your swill water has ever been w/in 10miles of a hop! You would be much better off showing a rice field or some rednecks pissing in a lake!
Rave to Mt. Baker Ski Resort…You serve Stone beers and other great assorted micros in your ski lodge! What better way to end a great day at Washington's best ski resort!
Rave to kid friendly breweries and ale houses…Not only allowing kids in but having toys, crayons, and kids food sure makes it nicer on us beer loving parents.
Rant to the former owner/management of Rose Hill Alehouse…You suck! You let one of the best Alehouses around die due to mismanagement/bad ownership. We need more nonsmoking relaxed places w/ large beer selections and decent pricing like you used to be.
Rave to the Dog and Pony Alehouse in Renton…awesome selection and great food.
Rant to McMenamins… for little girl pitchers and glasses.
Rave to Diamond Knott… for letting us throw peanut shells on the floor.
Rant to most places in Seattle…for not having outdoor seating for the summer.
Rave to the Snorting Elk at Crystal Mt… for having a great selection of good beers.
Rave to Redhook… for outdoor patio, bike up location. And for the Soy Beans. mmmmm.
